Pearl Country Store Barbecue - Micanopy

Just so happened to cross this little gem on the drive back from Gainesville, what a great business they have food is fantastic and very fairly priced, local honey and other stuff for sale. The staff was very nice and polite and welcoming as they could most likely tell we weren't from the local area... I definitely plan on stopping back in there!

Stopped in for lunch because of all the 5 ratings. This place is located in a gas station so don't come here expecting anything fancy. What you should expect are huge portions of excellent BBQ. The pulled pork was perfectly prepared and the sauces are excellent. The baked beans and mac cheese were good too. Don't forget the banana pudding.

I can't believe I've not reviewed Pearl's!!! This is probably, in my opinion, the best BBQ in Florida!!!! Hands down...overwhelming helpings of protein and sides.....taste through the roof!!! When I'm within 30 miles I make a stop there!!

Great food. Very unassuming location in a gas station, but you won't be disappointed. Ribs were super tender and yummy! Pork had a tiny bit of fat, but very flavorful. Will definitely be back!
