Cute place. We enjoyed the dumplings and the stir fry noodles. However, the portion of noodles is a bit small compared to regular Asian restaurants. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 100–150

I suppose I can give the 1 star here for the invaluable lesson this terrible experience taught me. Research internet reviews! Something terrible must have happened to this restaurant in the past year because, since then, the reviews that were published here couldn 't have been more true. What a disappointment, we travelled all the way from Pretoria to experience authentic Japanese cuisine at a highly rated restaurant. Firstly, the waitress never got our reservation? Okay no problem. The place was empty anyways. First warning. The table was dirty and uncleaned, I don 't know from when given that the place wasn 't exactly heaving with customers. Our order started with a list of things that the bar didn 't have. Mainly wine by the glass. How convenient that we 'd need to buy a bottle. The menu had pictures of items that were not listed, suggesting pages had been removed. By this point, I was afraid to order anything too exotic. The décor is yes, Japanese. But, when you play Trace Sunday Hip Hop, the tone of an establishment does change considerably. At one point, someone came in and insisted on changing the channel on the Television. Yes! Maybe some decent music, the world cup perhaps? No. Hannah Montana. I ate mediocre sushi while watching Hannah Montana and was expected to cough up R600+ for it. No wait R570. We were double charged for sushi we didn 't eat. My partner was served a more expensive platter than he originally ordered but we weren 't about to complain given the limited food available. My Vietnamese Summer Roll was soggy. The sushi was average at most and definitely not worth more than your typical take away. Do yourself a favour and save some money. Don 't go here. Horrible sushi (not fresh) and their wings lacked personality for something that costs R 108. Dry wings and very small. Extremely disappointed considering the high reviews I saw. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 150–200

So much wasted potential here. Service is dead, food is tasteless. A completely forgettable experience all round. The place can be so much more, but its just dull.
