La Garrotxa - Mieres

Everything is exceptional in this restaurant. The dishes are offered according to the season with an exceptional quality of food from the region. To highlight the cooking points, the authentic flavors without superfluous sauces, the perfect presentation of each dish. The ribs cooked for 15 hours at a low temperature and grilled are simply incredible, tender and tasty. I recommend the dessert: white chocolate soup with a contrast of ice cream and violet meringue or the mel y mato with hazelnut foam, something out of the ordinary. But the best thing is its people, young professionals with enthusiasm, who transmit their passion and are capable of turning a simple meal into an unforgettable moment. Congratulations, chapeau, thank you. There are many restaurants that we visited and few that have excited and passionate us so much.

Wonderful welcome from the charming owners and staff in a beautifully restored traditional Catalan building that used many years ago to be the village school. The chef comes from a famous Barcelona restaurant and the food is simply excellent! Very reasonably priced too.
