Such a great vibe and the ambience is great! If you're in Mildura I recommend visiting the new Italian styled Black Stump! You won't be disappointed!
Had a wonderful leisurely lunch today at the Black Stump. The feed me menu was fabulous and great value for money. We started with 3 appetisers and our favourite salt bush crisps. The Murray cod on sour dough was delicious. This was followed by squid salad, a light and refreshing dish. Pasta was a dish of farfalle with fresh Australian truffles and was a perfect example of fresh ingredients used to their utmost best. Then we had seasoned roast pork and finished with a light baked lemon soufflé. The new menu has an Italian slant but the food is definitely closer to fine dining. Can't wait to go back for more.
Great ambience, open fires. Good menu. Specials on board...bit hard to see..without staring at diners.. Salt bush & sour cream starter tasty and fun.$6. Helpful staff ..Wine we ordered not available.
Great setting with attentive staff and beautiful, creative food. It is a place I highly recommend for individuals or groups and the prices are reasonable. The fires are lovely. Congratulations Liam, Jim,Tim, Maddy and team.
Always enjoy a nice cold beer at the setts! friendly staff, great food and nice and warm in the winter months with the open fires!
