The Original Crockett's Family Cafeteria Catering

It's worth the ride. My daughter lives in Milledgeville and I'm visiting Crocketts. Her vegetables are delicious and the desserts are so good that I drive over an hour just to satisfy my desire. Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel at home. The only complaint I have is that I wished they were open at night or Saturday, so I could visit more often.

Always great food. We always try to eat original Crocketts more often every Sunday when we can. The food was always great and the prices are reasonable. Turkey Dressing is the best good devil eggs other salads, big desserts. I wish they would open a few evenings a week, too*

Good home kitchen. Very good lunch: large portions, friendly service. I'd eat it again the next time I'm in Milledgeville. A nice note: Soon after we sat a nice little girl, maybe 7 years old, came by and asked if we wanted a free cookie from her basket. We saw her and she was diligent to see that every customer got a cookie. Server said she was the granddaughter of the owner.

My partner and I like this place because they are large house cooked style meals as well as sandwiches and pommes for those who are looking a little easier. The staff is friendly and attentive and serves coke products. I would recommend this place for lunch if you take a seat or go.

Nobody has better roast beef, great, friendly service.
