Avaliação da contribuiçãoArriving off the train from London at Milton Keynes Central we had the choice to grab breakfast either at AMT or the Pumpkin Café. I'm glad we visited this place. The staff are extremely friendly, they double up as guides to help visitors to MK get where they need to go, plus the bacon butties and coffee we had for breakfast hit the spot and tasted good. Although there is a limited selection of sandwiches on offer, they have a good selection of hot and cold drinks- including Naked Juices for the more health conscious. Worth a visit.
This review is for the Pumpkin Cafe at Kettering Station That has to be the worse Bacon Roll I have ever tasted , not sure if the coffee was coffee La la la la la la la la la la
Rubbery Roll and weak, luke warm coffee. The bacon was hot, but the roll was tough to chew seemed undercooked. Coffee was not worth the £2 something I paid. Service was not exactly friendly either.
I handed the staff member a £10 note, and he claims I only gave him 5. I had just been to the cash point and know for sure it was £10. What got me angry was the arrogant, condescending attitude. If it wasn't for the fact that I had to run to catch my train there would have been hell to pay. It is certainly far from over though! Watch this space.
The restaurant meets basic needs, but offers a limited selection of sandwiches. The coffee is okay, but there is no competition from other eateries.
