Avaliação da contribuiçãoOne of the best Indian meals we had in the Twin Cities. We've been living in Saint Louis Park for 2.5 years, and we're getting up because we haven't tried this place before. The staff is very friendly and fast. We ordered the dinner for 2, to taste a variety of dishes and got a more than generous amount of food for 2 people. The dinner included appetizers, Tandoori chicken lamb shrimps and then our selection of curry and bread. We went with the mixed herbal curry and the classic naan. Every dish delivered to our table was better than the next. We ended up with a coconut rice pudding dessert, which was also a good way to finish the meal. Not too sweet and not too heavy. If you are looking to add India to your rotation of restaurants, I definitely recommend Best of India. They won't be disappointed. We'll come back to try the buffet. Food: 5 star staff: 5 stars
We stumbled upon this place after waiting a long time at another restaurant nearby. Don't judge a book by its cover - this place has a beautiful interior and serves delicious food with a wide variety of options. My friend and I tried the $35.99 dinner special for two, which included appetizers, a choice of curry, rice, bread, and a flavorful assortment of tandoori chicken, lamb, beef kabob, and spicy shrimp on a bed of seasoned onions and carrots. The meal even came with dessert! What a fantastic deal! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent. We will definitely be back to try the lunch buffet or even get takeout!
Originally skeptical on the basis of reviews, but went right when she opened for dinner with my friend (who has never tasted Indian food). It was AMAZING! I had a lot of traditional Indian food, and this place was on site. Owner/server was attentive and very helpful with recommendations. We had the mixed plate for apps, lamb curry and navratton corma with garlic naan and mango Lassi. Everything was delicious, the perfect amount of heat and very pleasant culinary experience. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.
Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine, in the current Best of Issue, explained that Best of India is the best buffet! This is not the best buffet in St. Louis Park - it is the best in the entire metro area! This is not the best Indian buffet- it is the best of ALL buffets.
This is definitely the top spot for delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. The use of whole spices in their dishes creates a depth of flavor that captures the essence of Indian food. I highly suggest giving this restaurant a try!
