Eli's Food Cocktails - Minneapolis

This little spot is one of the best kept secrets in the cities. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Even when you go in, it just looks like a regular neighbor bar that probably serves regular neighborhood bar food. Nothing could be more wrong. The food is surprisingly excellent and they have quite a range of different selections on the menu. All the food is good including such mundane items as hotdogs or the fried egg sandwich. The hotdog has a nice hardwood smoked flavor and the fried egg sandwich has a just a hint of subtle horseradish. Their Penne and Cheese is as good as any Mac and Cheese you'll find in the cities. For appetizers, you won't find any better than the sesame seed encrusted Tuna Tataki or the Fillet Mignon with gorgonzola. For dessert we always get the pistachio cheese cake with raspberry coullee. You can't go wrong here.

Really excellent! The Bruschetta consisted of some of the most tasty and freshest ingredients I have ever experienced for this dish. Nice staff, nice quiet atmosphere.

The food here is wonderful. Nice cozy atmosphere. Went after a Twins game for drinks and shared a delicious crab Rangoon dip appetizer.

Absolutely fantastic! We used to visit this place weekly from 2013 to 2015 and we loved it then. We return as often as we can, and the experience hasn't changed at all—and that's a good thing! The staff is very friendly, the food is outstanding, and I've heard the drinks are great too. No changes here. We adore this place!
