I don't like going out to eat much but was feeling a bit miserable so figured I'd give it a shot. Glad I did. The place is good and the food is great. It also lifted my spirits a little too.

Lots of options. It looks like a fun local hangout, many tvs, big bar, friendly wait staff. Philly cheese steak was incredibly tender! Loads fries good, but cheese sauce boring and too heavy. Leave off the sauce.Right next door is the railway. The seating was disappointing, though. Big tables. Wooded chairs hard on your back) no tables for 2. Dark, not many windows. The outside patio looked nice. Heaters. And open picnic tables with volleyball nets!! So if that's your thing. Enjoy!

My name is Jean (Harley) and I am a regular customer at Trappers II. I absolutely love the service and enjoy the food. I must disagree with recent negative comments about the food and service. Perhaps it was just a bad day for some of the reviewers? I believe that some of the comments may be vindictive or exaggerated. It is important to have patience when at any bar for food or drinks, rather than immediately resorting to posting negative reviews. Service is not just about individual preferences. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, it is important to be constructive and fair in our criticisms. I have a great appreciation for the staff at Trappers II.

If you enjoy waiting at the bar while others are served before you, then this is the perfect place for you. I did eventually get a drink, but I don't think I'll risk trying my luck again.
