Always excellent food, courteous and efficient service. Good selection and openness to different requests. Very affordable.
Amazing little cafe in the heart of St Lazare. I have been going there for brunch since moving here and every time I am amazed by the service, quality of...
Good spot for brunch, with or without kids. The food was very tasty. The grilled cheese was delicious, the waffles were fluffy and flavourful, and the melted brie plate was great. The main downside was that it was expensive $70 for two adults and a toddler. The meals need to be improved a bit to be charging that much for them. The service needs work too. They were all very enthusiastic and friendly but they forgot a few things and didn't stay at the table long enough for us to say anything, or come back to see if everything was right with our order. They need to work on their coffee as well, the cappuccino wasn't strong at all, very weak and milky. We'll be back but probably for the pastries and some stuff to take out.
We were served cutlery, and nothing else, despite there being a small army of bussers. We were seated at an IKEA table, in IKEA chairs, waiting for someone to pay some attention to us. Only one person takes orders the owner and when I asked her if we could order, she replied bruskly that there were other people who had arrived before us. After a quick estimate of the time required to place an order, and then for the food to arrive, my daughter and I got up and left. Why tolerate being neglected and then treated like a nuisance?I've spoken to other people, and our experience is par for the course. If you are determined to eat at this restaurant, bring a snack to hold you over. And leave your dignity in the car.
