The food was much better than the McDonald's in my hometown, and the employees were very friendly. They didn't seem as stressed and overwhelmed as most McDonald's employees do.
Today at McDonald's, my car wouldn't shift out of park at the last drive-thru window. I just want to extend my gratitude to everyone who helped us and for being so patient while my husband worked on getting it running. Thank you all so much!
I'm not the best at remembering names, but I want to highlight Adrianne – she truly deserves recognition! I've always seen McDonald's as a place that's cheap, quick, and impersonal, where the customer service usually stops at a simple “thank you, have a good day.” However, that changed when I was carrying out three meals for my coworkers and myself. Adrianne noticed me and took the time to pack all the meals into a large bag with a handle, and she put my drinks in a drink carrier, all while smiling and having a great attitude. She even offered to help me carry everything. While such service might be standard at other carry-out places, this was the first time an employee at McDonald's went above and beyond for me. I’m going to make sure the manager of this McDonald's hears about how Adrianne completely changed my view of the restaurant!
I realize they were a bit slow, just like the others, but my fries were lukewarm, and they forgot the sauce for my nuggets. I was too tired to go back once I started eating on my way home from work. However, all the staff I encountered were really nice.
