Martano Pizza - Mitilini

Delicious pizza and pasta. Fast service huge, large calzone for 7.50. Really polite staff. Beautiful open windows outdoor seating. The other side shows a hot counter.

I haven't visited her before Covid so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but her pizza tastes good and it's very cheap. I recommend it.

A nice quiet family restaurant away from the city centre. You can have everything from an Italian or Greek cuisine, perfectly cooked.

One of the best pizzas in Mitillini Edit: went back to the other Martano, near the port. Place was quite busy for a Monday, staff spoke English and the pizza was good. Of course it is not Italian pizza (they put Gouda cheese with mozzarella) and the dough is cheesy, but overall there is not better on the island in our opinion. The service is quite fast and price for a regular size pizza margherita is 10€. Regular size is the so-called 10 discs. 8 discs is for small children 12 discs is huge, for 2 pax.

The food was great and the staff plus the owner were very polite! calzone was amazing. surely a good option, especially if youre a tourist.
