We were in Mittenwald by train from Seefeld, and on wandering through the town, we came across this quaint coffee shop situated on a corner near the old part of the town. We ordered coffee and a drink, then decided to have a piece of cake. We went inside and had difficulty making a choice from the vast selection. We chose a cake made with local fruits on a sponge base. It had just been made and was beautiful. The owners made us most welcome. We sat outside, just beside a little green, with a stream running through it. A beautiful setting.There is a wine shop attached to the cafe, but we didn't buy anything this time, due to weight limit on the plane home. It's great finding little family run cafes which are so friendly.

This is a beautiful coffeehouse that has delicious simple meals and soups. The coffee has a great taste and aroma and they also have a good selection of high quality teas. The owner and his wife are super friendly and nice. The shop also opens to a small store where you can buy local wines and products.

This cafe is just off the central street through the town but easily found and what a great little place. Clean, fresh and welcoming with charming owners who welcome you and make you feel at home. they have a wonderful selection of light meals and local cakes to die for and the portions are supurb so we loved the place and thoroughly reccommend the place.
