Avaliação da contribuiçãoI wanted to leave a long review, but a look at the 1 star reviews says most of my experience last Saturday, so I'll just keep it. For breakfast with a party of about 15. At that time there were only a few to no cartridges. Extremely slow service from start to finish. We were there three hours. And because of our big party, they tied up to a 20% size. That was amazing. A luck is for additional service carried out by waiting staff. There was little to no service, let alone extra service. In addition, an automatic satisfaction should be 15% or less and is there to protect the server from cheap screen owners, I understand. 20%? That was absolutely laughing. Tips should not be expected. Tips are for services made by waiting staff, and the amount left is at the discretion of the patron, NOT the restaurant. I asked for automatic satisfaction with a resistance from the administration, which also upset me. The rest of my party decided not to cause waves and simply to pay. This server made a terrible amount of money for terrible service. Unacceptable. The boldness to expect a great tip for terrible service is why we will never visit this restaurant again. I have also read the answers from the administration to the previous reviews, and it is very clear that they did not take the steps they promised to fix these issues. So I'm telling the management? Save your answer. I hope you will take care of your business and your cartridges, but we will not return.
I've been dining at this restaurant for 22 years. It closed temporarily due to COVID, so we were all thrilled when it reopened. The cakes are still fantastic! However, I think the dining experience could use some improvement. It feels a bit outdated—not necessarily bad, but definitely room for enhancement. On a positive note, the service was excellent; the staff was polite and attentive. The restrooms were also clean. I believe there’s a great opportunity to elevate the restaurant, especially given its long-standing reputation and the loyalty of its patrons. However, the quality of the food should not be overlooked; this is just my perspective from my most recent visit. I hope to see you here!
Dear Marie Callender?s, it is a beautiful restaurant, not a bunch of clutter on walls, etc. A very noble look with fireplaces large table spacing. The bar is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful details like brass lion heads used with the railing. Happy Hour includes 1/2 off appetizers and great drinks discounts, but nobody was in the bar! I think more advertising would make a killer place for Happy Hour!
I've been trying to revisit Marie Callender's for a few years, and I finally made it! It's now a smaller restaurant chain, and I decided to write a review since I don't usually post about larger chains. The food was just as good as I remembered, actually even better. Everything was spot on. The potato cheese soup portion was larger than I recall, which made me very happy. I had a hot open turkey sandwich with giblet gravy, stuffing, and potatoes. They also offer their delicious cornbread on the house while you're waiting for your food. I ordered a diet soda, cranberry juice, and water with lemon. My server, Alejandra D, did a fantastic job despite being busy and working hard. She was also very friendly and professional. I will definitely return, especially since the food was delicious and even better than a few years ago.
The food was incredibly flavorful. There weren't many customers when we arrived, so the service was excellent. However, it felt a bit expensive for what we received.
