I cannot adequately express how amazing this restaurant is. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the staff will ensure your glass is always full. The beef is exceptional, and cooking your own steak on a hot stone is a unique experience. The highlight of our visit was when a staff member noticed that my kids were tired and offered to give us a ride back instead of waiting for a taxi. This act of kindness made our experience unforgettable and was the perfect way to celebrate my wife's birthday. C'est la vie will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Our family of 4 ate here on vacation from the US, once on each of two trips this week and the summer of 2019. My 18 yo son loved it the first time and asked to return. It is pricey but the hot stones are a cool experience! The staff is helpful and attentive. All four of us got the hot stones both times we went (salmon, chicken, shrimp, beef my 18 yo adventurous eater tried alligator, ostrich, kangaroo, and duck). The food was extremely fresh and well seasoned. The sugar pie we had for dessert could have been better the crust seemed store bought and though I have never made it myself I wonder if it would be better made in a phyllo dough crust. The tiramisu was very good. Would return again.
I had a fantastic French bistro dinner with my family at this restaurant during the holidays. The host was very friendly, but I would recommend making reservations in advance. The restaurant was a bit understaffed, so our server was quite busy without a break. As a New Yorker, I tend to rush through meals, but I had to remind myself to relax and enjoy the European-style pace. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The foie gras was particularly tasty, and the duck was cooked perfectly. I would suggest skipping the stone cooking unless you are interested in trying exotic meats - the cuts are good, but I prefer having the chef cook the food. The dessert was decadent. Overall, I think this restaurant is a must-visit for après-ski.
Last night, we had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The hot stone steaks were amazing and a must-try. They also offer a variety of interesting game dishes. We will definitely be returning.
