Crabby Jim's - Monterey

Warm facility with view of the water. very friendly staff. I don't eat seafood, so the mac and cheeseburger ordered with garlic. incredible! the biggest burger I've ever seen. it had to eat with a knife and fork, as it was picked up with many strokes.

A delicious experience! right in front of the kai, beautiful view of the pier. eating is some of the best seafood I ever had. that is at the crabby jims at the monterey wharf. I was greeted by a beautiful young lady in happy hour. Happy hour is 6 dollar drinks. I had the **** mary, margarita, one both packed a blow. they do not skip the alcohol! for the meal I started with the coconut tiger prawns. absolutely delicious! served on a bed mango salsa, not spicy, but sweet and salty, a very large savory dish. sown with lemon and garnel sauce, I did not use it. I think it can stand alone with just the salsa. would definitely recommend it! for the entree I ordered the jim 's dinner a tasteful full of seafood. half maine lobster filled with crabs. with two HUGE scallops. the meal was a firm for a reasonable price. I'll come back.

The friendly host and his offer of a free appetizer invited us to hook, line and washbasin! I'm happy for it. While it is true that every place on the kai will try to let them come with promise of a free appetizer, it is not the free appetizer that got us though we get a free appetizer. (calamari mediocre best, but I'm not a Calamari person. it was the name to be honest. we have a beautiful table with a magnificent view of the bay, and the escape and drinks were spectacular. it was our last night in California, and it was a good meal to finish our vacation.

Went in for the crab sandwich.. yum, and the fish and chips. The burger was so big a whale would struggle with it.
