Locanda Angelica Le Due Palme

If you needed a postcard for down to earth Scilian pizzeria, this is it. The menu was plain, but with that it did what it was meant do and did it well. Delivering great homestyle pizza that was both delicous and well priced. The staff friendly and very accomodating. We had booked for 22 people, being a family get together filled with locals and cousins from Australia in Giarratanna for the big festival. I was game to try the scacci de cavallo....horse meat, and loved it. Throughly recommend it.

We live about 30 minutes away and this is one of our favorite go to places! There are many great Pizza places in Sicily and Le Due Palme is right at the top of the list! Lovely atmosphere in the room by the fireplace, for those cold months and in the summer, a charming covered patio to while away the hours enjoying your drinks, pizza or steak. Don 't forget to ask about the homemade cheesecake!

We (myself, husband 11 and 14 year old) have just returned from spending a week at Locanda Angelica. We had such a wonderful time. The setting is very secluded and peaceful, so probably not the best location of you are looking for action. We were not and so it suited us perfectly! We borrowed bikes and cycled in to town for our bread first thing. We lazed by the pool in the mornings and then went sightseeing to the many wonderful baroque towns nearby in the afternoons. We would then come home to have dinner at the fantastic restaurant. The food was divine and extremely good value. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. The weather was pretty good for October, the pool is not heated and so you do need to be pretty hardy to swim at this time of year. We also spent one night at another hotel to see more of the island which worked well for us. If you are looking for a super chilled holiday away from the rat race I would highly recommend Locanda Angelica.

Pizza eccezionale posto incantevole servizio ottimo

Bellissima location immersa in un cuore verde. Ottimo il ristorante con la possibilità di mangiare sia al chiuso che all'aperto. La locanda dispone inoltre di stupendi cottage tutti diversi tra loro in base alle esigenze. Servizio eccellente.
