Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhat a wonderful experience! On our road trip from France to lake Garda we were on the hunt for a lunch spot in Piedmont. Having found this recommended restaurant after a Google search, it really did not disappoint. 4 star rating seems unfair to say the least. We opted for the traditional set menu, priced incredibly fairly at €40 for 5 courses an amuse bouche. Food was delicious, service was impeccable, wine list called “the bible”. Portions were very generous and the setting was beautiful, felt like an Italian high-end farmhouse with open windows and views over the vineyards. Would recommend, thank you!
Nice location, in the middle of the countryside. The place has two rooms, try to get a table in the first room, more typical and with a nice fireplace. The second room is rather cold. Typical Piedmont dinner, with a large number of good appetizers. We then got tagliatelle with truffles, delicious and at a reasonable cost. We skipped the main course and we had a nice dessert. Cost was very reasonable. To recommend
We went to this restaurent by hazard. Someone of this area has recommend to us. It was a good surprise. Every dish, from beef tartar steak, pasta with mushroom, fried porcini to chocolate cake with savoian sauce was very very good. Fried foods (friture)of Piedmont is special and worth to taste. We had a dinner in a good rated restaurant in the center city of Alba 2 days before, but the dinner at this restaurant was much better(with the same budget). Thank you very much !
Mia moglie ed io siamo clienti affezionati da diversi anni e abbiamo potuto notare un miglioramento continuo della qualità del cibo da quando il locale è passato da trattoria a ristorante. Alcuni piatti sono veramente eccellenti e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Tuttavia, forse c'è stata una perdita della semplicità e genuinità tipiche di una trattoria, che ha lasciato insoddisfatti alcuni clienti. I prezzi sono molto giusti considerando l'attenzione ai dettagli e alla presentazione dei piatti. Complimenti, torneremo con piacere.
After having attended a family event in near by Poirino, with family we went to this Trattoria were, apparently, food was good. It wasn 't. We had several 'antipasti ' of which carne cruda stood out for being covered in sea salt. Not easy to eat. Then plin with burro e salvia. Order was wrongly placed and owner sent a second portion to our table, which was a nice gesture. Pity quality was far below standards. We skipped main course and went straight to desserts of panna cotta, tasteless. We drank water, had coffees and paid €60. nothing if compared to London. Being from Piedmont I m sorry to say it was a very unremarkable meal. and we won 't go back. Maybe good for starving cyclists. Not for us.
