Ja-roen Thai - Monticello

People there are very nice. Rene will be running the place very successfully some day if she chooses to. Food is good and portion size ample but don 't tell them Thai spicy unless you know what you 're talking about. I was born, raised and livedin NYC for 50+ years and this is some of the best Thai food I 've had. Grandpa keep up the good work!

Had the Pad Woon Sen and was NOT disappointed! This was not just good for a small town Thai place, but it was good for ANY place! I was wildly impressed with the quality and taste of the food, which has just the right amount of flavoring to bring outthe flavors of the noodles, chicken, and vegetables without drowning them out. Service was a little slow, but at the time it wasjust a 2-person shop. I look forward to my next trip to Monticello!

So good!!! Best Thai we've had in ages. Garlic green beans, mango curry with tofu and ginger stir fry with tofu.....all 3 were perfect. Service was fast and kind and the food was fresh. We can't wait to go again! Best Thai food in the USA. This place is AWESOME. The owners and workers are amazing. The food is out of this world and we can’t wait to go back!
