Avaliação da contribuiçãoI cost the food. the place was very hot, no air conditioning. the main course was great, but the suppe, dessert and house wines were very basic, felt like it came directly from a dose or box. probably it would try other places before they go back. but don't bet badly.
try the Tibetan noodles! this place is great, minimal, but appropriately decorated. very secret. highly recommended for a unique food experience.
The Yeti combo meal is certainly the best introduction to this pleasing cuisine. All of the dishes display clear clean flavors. Stuffing ingredients retain their individual character unlike many other mushy buns commonly served elsewhere. Mild seasoning can be kicked up a few notches with...chili sauce but take time to appreciate how carefully the dishes are prepared before splashing on the heat. When I asked our server if the chicken soup had been mildly seasoned with Chinese 5 Spice, he took time to explain theirs was a different 3 spice mix. He struggled to come up eith the English names, but we eventually figured it out; star anise, white and Szechuan peppercorns We had similar conversations about the other dishes as well; a real primer for us. They've been around for 25 yrs. No passing fancy here. Give it a try.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant, starting with lentil soup followed by both steamed and fried momos. The price was reasonable and the food was very tasty. One of us tried the large cheese momos, which were fantastic although a little sweet. The sweet rice for dessert was also delicious. The only downside was the butter tea, which was not to our liking. Overall, it was a great value in a pleasant atmosphere.
The food at this restaurant is top-notch, with a special mention for the momos which are especially delicious. The dishes are flavorful, not overly spicy, and prepared with fresh ingredients. Guests can enjoy their meal in a lovely outdoor garden, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The service is exceptional as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to try authentic Tibetan cuisine.
