La Terrasse du Petit Palais - Montreux

Great view, attentive and friendly staff, extensive menu and overall fabulous experience. I expected it to be way more expensive than it was.

Delicious dinner mixed salad with shrimp followed by Garganellis pasta in tomato sauce and candied lemon.

Beautiful view of the terrace and plenty of good food, Swiss wine menu a bit on the expensive side (for well known local weine) but very good French and Italian alternatives. we loved the high end quality outside furniture.

The ambiente was good. the server was a bit on the haughty and repulsive side in relation to allergies. the presentation and quality of food were very good. the biggest catch was the chain smoker pair in the next table that would give us no incentive to breathe and enjoy the experience. they actually ran out of a full package and wanted to buy another.

Beautiful location, amazing professional staff, great eating. pity that it wasn't a day when we can have a lively chilling music. but I'll be back.
