My Favorite Muffin - Montrose

Delicious food at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely adding this place to our regulars.

I arrived at 2:45 (15 minutes before closing), and they were locking the doors. I had to beg to be allowed in and promise not to order anything from the kitchen. I wonder if they would have clocked out at 2:45 or just told the boss they stayed 'til 3.The muffin is really good and they have a great selection of interesting flavors, but it 's also 3x the price of a grocery store muffin with almost no discount for bulk buying. Without the aforementioned staff issue, I would have given it 4 stars a rounded down average of 5 for taste, 4 for value. But the staff closing shop early and not wanting to let me in left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Muffins were rock hard (I could literally knock on them). Java drink was pretty bland. Won't be back sadly.

Last year, got mini muffins for all the neighbors for the holidays. This year, muffins for us for Christmas Day. This is also a terrific place to get a tasty breakfast or lunch sandwich!
