Rosies Diner - MONUMENT

We're going back! Breakfast was amazing! My husband had the cookies and Gravy. He said the cookies were soft, buttery and not dry. They melt in their mouth. I asked for burned bacon and they followed through. The ash-browns were crispy and soft. The name of our server was Alyson. I would ask her to serve you!

Pretty much everything you expect in a diner, but a little more beautiful and clean. I appreciate the variety of items in the menu (something for each), and the reasonable prices. My Veggie sandwich was delicious and perfectly roasted. French Toast Sticks were great! I love that you do not have to choose between frits or onion rings, and can have freses; a bit of both! And both were good taste and crispness! My only complaint was coffee. It was hardly hot (stretch from waitress to me), and VERY Blande. The second cup I asked for fresh, and while it was hotter, it was still dirty. I expect a good black coffee in a diner, but everything else was great!

We were a hike from home and wanted to take lunch before returning. We knew we made the right decision to choose Rosie's Diner. Great food, atmosphere and prices! Not to mention, our server, Mimi, was the icing on the cake. It's far away where we live, but we'll be back

A friend and I recently met at a fabulous restaurant Rosie’s Diner in Monument. For those that aren’t familiar, Monument is located on the North side of Colorado Springs and the US Air Force Academy. Rosie’s is kitchy and everything I would want in a nostalgic 1950’s diner experience! From the juke box to the dine in counter, it was really neat to learn that we have this throwback in our city! I tried the taco salad and it was perfectly prepared. The chicken was very tender and moist, the fried shell was crispy and perfect on the mound of creamy refried beans! My friend and I enjoyed our conversation, all while waitresses be bopped past our table at full speed, always making sure we were taken care of at every moment. As you can see from our faces, Rosie’s was a delightful experience! If you want to break out the poodle skirt or leather jacket, you will fit right in. If you are looking for an expansive menu to satisfy all diners’ tastes, Rosie’s has you covered too.

OMGOSH! What a great place! Food is amazing! Our server, Joey, was friendly, professional and helpful. He was on any slight request. Need a little more gravy, on it. Needed refills, on it! A must try if you are in the area! Monte Cristo was AWESOME! Come hungry!
