Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Moody

I arrived at the restaurant before 7:30 PM and was told they closed at 8, even though Google indicated they were open until 9. Their lack of clarity on closing time aside, the staff seemed confused about the difference between 7:30 and 8. Overall, not the most competent workers.

Despite all the bad reviews i decided to give it a try. Service was quick and the man at the window was very nice! You could also see the 93 health score, which i’d say is pretty good. I got the chicken sandwich combo with mash and gravy and added a side of mac and cheese, it was $12 which is a little pricey (for me), but everything is these days. Everything was very delicious! Mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy, gravy was spicy, mashed potatoes were fluffy. My sandwich was crispy and hot, and my drink was yum and full of carbonation!! 10/10!!

The above because they were closed at 5 on Monday and saw 5 cars pull away and the last 2 days in a row they have had NO mild fried chicken cooked only spicy. RIDICULOUS! I will NEVER visit their establishment again!

I visited this restaurant before it closed down, and the service was terrible. The staff were incredibly rude with a careless attitude. Luckily, they were out of the chicken I wanted, which was probably for the best as I've heard from others that the chicken was cold and inedible. It has been closed for over a year now, and I don't think it will reopen without better management and more dedicated employees. It was a complete disgrace of a place, and if they want to compete with Chick-fil-A or Zaxby's, they need to step up their game and have employees who actually care about their job. If they do decide to open again, they need to improve significantly.

Rarely do I provide negative ratings or reviews, but I must say that this was the worst dining experience I've had in the past 20 years! I was told to wait 20 minutes for my chicken order to cook, only for the lady behind the counter to give my food to her male friend who just walked in and ordered. She then told me I would have to wait an additional 15 to 20 minutes. Their behavior was rude and hateful. I have no intention of returning to any Popeyes location. I frequently dine out and spend $30 to $50 each time, but I will now choose Jacks or KFC over Popeyes without hesitation.
