Avaliação da contribuiçãoMoraga is one of the last places on earth that you would expect a decent Chinese restaurant. Let's go. Believe me or not, China Moon actually has a pretty good reputation among the Chinese in the area. It didn't happen. It is simple, authentic, honest Chinese cuisine led by a very friendly Chinese family. It's very cheap. The portions are huge. Some Chinese even ask the cook to get fresh fish from Oakland to prepare for them. Go on, China Moon!
We had the Sichuan dinner. Delicious. The apps were good, the hot and sour a little mild, and the Mongolian beef was great. Service was good.
So I went here after a long working day and thought why not? I feel Chinese today and drive as this was the closest in my area and open. It was almost empty, I saw a customer sitting there and showed my card (Kovid) that I wanted to dive. And they sat on a stand. Now, not at Picky's service and I have a lot of patience due to my background, but this is a family restaurant. Personally all have their own standards, which is as polite and not, but they took my order and that is what is important. If you are a sticker how people should act in their own restaurant, I would not recommend their services. Overall I ordered lunch special, kung pao chicken and got my full order in 10-15 minutes. Comes with hot n acid soup, honey salad with peanuts (mmmmmm love them) and steamed rice with roasted sommes. (Note that you can also order fried rice, they mentioned) they have my order right. Appetizers were good, love soup and salad because you can never melt the simplicity. As for the kung pao, I was curious why it was not spicy and looked at the menu. Apparently, this restaurant is a not MSG operation and reminded you that you have restaurant like this, you need to specify your order that you want it sharply. I wasn't too worried about him, more about it was actually good for me because I have heart inflammation problems with too much salt. Now I want to go to the vegetables. Perfectly fresh! I was many before and I had some where the vegetables have a boring and unfresh taste to them. This was not the problem here as they were great and can taste the vegetables for what they really are. Finished with the meal, I got the check fast, I haven't asked for it yet, but they said I could take some time and the bill was $12 overall if you are looking for good fresh light or unsalted food and you don't think how strange customer service can be, this would be a good place! 10/10
I went here and sat down to eat, but changed my mind and went, so I have no comment on food only atmosphere and attitude of the employees. When I left, it was completely empty, and the woman who sat us didn't say it? Welcome to? or a kind of greeting only?her or takeout?? From anywhere. We have said here even if I was uncomfortable, and what else would I say it was unpleasant, so we sit down and the lady brings us water (we didn't ask) and she asks us like 3 different times when we? Are we ready? ret, there was no patience, we felt extremely hurried. In view of how uncomfortable I was, we got up and my friend announced that we let go that we would thank anyway, and the woman said something along the lines of?nearly when you see the menu outside, I made the whole table for you and you? back? that was extremely rude. I didn't know there was a menu outside, I didn't ask her about the water or anything, they had zero other customers in the restaurant, so it wasn't as if she had a ton, everything I sat at a table and all the time she had acted like that was a HUGE inconvenience. Never again because of this terrible customer service, and I'm not one to leave really bad reviews, but this experience was so unpleasant that I had to say it.
A truly delicious takeout experience. Two of my favorite dishes are the salt and pepper fish and eggplant and tofu. The fish is crispy (even as takeout! and so tasty. The eggplant and tofu are so soft and packed with flavor. I recommend China moon!
