China Moon Restaurant - Moraga

We had an event for 100 people and China Moon came through with flying colors. We couldn't have been more pleased working with the owner Ben. He helped us select a menu to satisfy our guests, including many vegetarians and knew which entrees would hold up well in chafing dishes for a few hours. He was very generous with the portions of each party pan and also included soy sauce packets and fortune cookies. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was and the variety of entrees. China Moon's prices were very reasonable too. He even accommodated our morning pick-up time which was well before the restaurant opened at 11 a.m. They don't offer delivery service but with their help, it was easy to pick up and pack the food trays in our car. The next time we want to cater Chinese food for an event, we'll return to China Moon! Love this place. Family owned and good quality in the middle of Rheem Moraga. Good value during lunch but go for dinner and try the menu. So many good options. Little on the older side for decor but food is good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
