Pugs Homemade Italian - Morgantown

First time here. We had a great experience. We definitely want to go back there next time we're in the area. We ordered the chicken parmesan and we took tiramisu with us for dessert. The service, the food everything from beginning to end was absolutely excellent. We love the ambience and we got to talk to the owners and they make everything homemade. Oh the bread that they bring to your table is out of this world.

Quiet not crowded,bread is so delicious? love the pizza! Salads yummy! Shrimp scampi ! Yum! Will go back again and again?

The lasagna and bread loaf was good. Everything else not so much. I only ate a few bites of my chicken Alfredo and the rest of the family barely ate any of their dinner either. The staff were friendly and service was fair.

Breads and crusts are way to salty with a strange texture for Italian doughs. The garlic knots are more like Challah bread than Italian dough knots. The red sauce for all dishes tastes like canned tomato puree with an over abundance of dry wine cooked in. I don't understand what people are talking about. The service was good, and they were friendly. The food isn't at all what the reviews would lead you to believe.

By far the best Italian food I have found in Morgantown! Pugs has the friendliest staff and a very welcoming environment. My new favorite restaurant!! Also the bread is PHENOMENAL.
