Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food looked pretty, but lacked I. Seasoning. The place looks very nice, good waitress.
This was our first carryout order and I specifically asked if they would send bread and butter and I was reassured they would! No bread. I ordered soup as our sides and you can see below how they were packaged. They melted and spilled all over my car. Apparently, they were out of the proper containers and put them in cups with holes in them that melted.Very disappointed.By the way Maria’s I called spoke to a manager. No apology. “What can I remake for you?” I explained we were 25 minutes away. Then….silence. So please do not respond with, “reach out to us directly.”
Disappointed in the quality for the price. Usually Italian restaurants have the best bread and olive oil while waiting for your appetizer and meal. Instead we were gifted two hockey puck biscuits and the assurance it was “freshly baked.” If that was fresh I can’t imagine their old bread. Not even butter was served with them. They even up charge the French onion soup if you want croutons and cheese on top. (The way it is supposed to be served. It became very evident that the heart of this restaurant was not passion for Italian cuisine but profit. I did enjoy my main entree, but was left underwhelmed by the dining experience as a whole. 3/5.
Time to vent!It still bothers me!Went to Maria’s in Morris for Easter brunch. What a disaster that was. First we had reservations for 7 at noon. So did two other party’s of 7 for the same time. That’s like triple booking a doctor in a 15 minute slot. We were seated at 12:40! There was one lady bussing tables and our waitress was whoever we stopped. The prime rib and lamb was like leather. The ham was cold. When my husband went (to what they called their carving station) for ham, there was none and the so called chef serving, had the nerve to ask him if he wanted a piece of pineapple that was on the ham that wasn’t there! I agree with the other reviewer. The waffles were frozen Eggo waffles and the desserts looked like they were bought at Costco or Sam’s club. $32 a person (do the math for 7) for Eggo frozen waffles and store bought, cold, and poor food is outrageous!!!I actually told our waitress to not charge me cuz I’m not eating. Here’s what got me, the manager or whoever came to our table at 1:15 (remember we were seated 40 mins later then our reservation)and told us we needed to leave cuz our time was up and they needed our table! That did it for me!Next year will be the Bolingbrook golf course or I will cook myself. We would have been better off at McDonald’s with hot, eatable food andNO TIME LIMIT!!My first time there and my last!!!!
Went for Easter brunch yesterday and I feel like we were scammed. The prime rib was good but the waffles were frozen Eggo waffles and the desserts looked like they were bought from Sam's club. $190 for 5 people for Eggo frozen waffles and mediocre food is outrageous!! My first time there and my last.
