The Barra - Mortdale

Of the reviews for this place totally misled. we went yesterday and got a mix of things, all scattered. we love the crisper. but unfortunately what we got was soggy. the potato kalotte was so fucking, not even sure how it was even considered a skalopp. I didn't make any photos. it was so hot yesterday and there was no air cone that is good, but eating was rather sad. now I saw on the menu a speck and an egg roll that they can do on a brioche brot. I thought we'd come back in the morning to see if this place can be redeemed and I can write something positive. Had grilled lachs dill, rakete birnensalat with chips and it was great, especially for under $17. would recommend barra in any case if they are in the opposite.

Love this place! great food and great service. the personal is very beautiful. I am often here to get my veggie burger meal from here and they have not even disappointed me. many choices also have a lot of delicious salads to choose to go with their meal or have on their own faust. the place is very cooled and there are many seats on the back. I would definitely recommend to come here, then to one of the other fish and chip shops on the road.

The Barra is quickly becoming one of the most popular eateries in Mortdale and for good reason. With an amazing selection of fresh seafood options matched with mouth watering burgers and delicious salads, it's no wonder there's a line of locals every lunchtime. Beef Burger with the LOT. This is exactly what I love about places like this. Real burgers packed full of everything. Juicy beef, lettuce, caramelized onions, beetroot, tomato, cheese, egg, pineapple and special maple bacon. A behemoth in flavour and size. Amen.

The personal was friendly. that was long. I honestly cannot remember having a worse fish and chips. the fish was slimy as if he had been in the freezer. Batter was oily. the chips were not crispy, and there was not much salt. (my wife had the crumbs and chips and had a similar experience. the potato salad, on the other hand, was unusable because it tasted as if it had been made with sea water. so salty! not try to be evil, but a very disappointing experience.
