Avaliação da contribuiçãoI have stayed here many times. I travel a lot and end up staying here few times over the weekend. Nice little quiet country town. Very friendly people. This place has got everything. Very fast internet connection. Nice breakfast. Dinner also very nice. Owner very helping and friendly. Highly recommended.
Relaxed friendly atmosphere.... good food and reasonably priced. Would happily return ???? Mixture of locals and travelers and felt comfortable dining alone
This restaurant is located in the Comfort Inn Cedar Lodge Motel. The food was very good and cooked the way we had asked for it to be cooked. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. We had garlic bread, rack of lamb and rib eye steak.
After a long day at work, I was feeling quite hungry, so I decided to order the lemon pepper calamari and chicken carving from the restaurant. Unfortunately, the calamari lacked the lemon or pepper flavor I was expecting, and the texture was a bit tough, leading me to believe it was perhaps frozen and not fresh. The chicken carving was thin and dry, and while the chips were tasty, there were only a few on the plate. The salad was decent, but overall, I felt that the $22 I paid for the meal was a bit steep for the quality. Despite filling me up, I was disappointed with the lackluster food. The restaurant staff was friendly and the motel itself was comfortable, albeit a bit dated. I would recommend some improvements to the entrance as well, as I had to use a towel to block a gap under the door. Overall, I may stay at the motel again (if my company pays), but I would not dine in the restaurant. It seems like the chef may have lost interest in their work.
We made a reservation a few hours before arriving and the staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Despite the older units, they were very clean and pleasantly scented. We also thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. Although the service was a bit slow, we didn't mind as the experience was definitely worth the wait.
