Avaliação da contribuiçãoIf you are driving West towards Melbourne, take your time past the 50 KM signs and it is on Left next door (prior) to the BP which is just past the pub at top of hill. There are a few car spots out front. We walked up after seeing the sign "fresh scones and jam". I was not disappointed. Serves come with 2 scones and 2 homemade jams. There are a few choices of jams if desired. There are plenty of awards for the jams at the Bairnsdale show which gives credence to my write up.Owner was nice and followed up to make sure all was well. Was quiet there but getting on to non-tourist times when we went through last Sunday.Coffee was nice. 2 marshmallows with your hot chocolate too.Home made soup also good with a few slices of bread with butter.Be aware that the owner stated she shuts up shop over 6 weeks at end of July (I think) and then reopens August. I assume she is open 7 days p/w apart from that though. Is a good break and can fuel up next door so saves some time when driving to Melbourne rather than fueling up later.Lots of seating out front and was a nice sunny day when we were there. We did sit inside though. You can buy jams separately plus chutneys and other preserves.Toilet was clean.Definitely worth a try. We will be back.
This place is a real gem! Cakes and scones (with lashings of homemade jam and cream) that are made on site to a standard you would find hard to beat. The interior is filled with quirky decor including local art and retro furniture and knick-knacks. Do yourself a favour!
Very friendly service, delicious home made jams and lots of fresh real cream on the home made scones. Delicious.
