Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhat a great place for lunch, Wed 16th. Ordered the Hamburger... their own beef pattie did it for me! Oh as well as the salad, caramelised onion & Smokey BBQ sauce just delicious. If driving through here again, I will be in for sure.
We arrived in Allora wanting to visit Amy's cafe but it wasn't open. We saw the Frog and Swallow was open so we stepped in. It was a very hot day and the aircon was barely coping, but it was still better than being outside. For some reason it took an age to order. Not much movement at the counter. After about 10 minutes the order was taken. My husband is particular with the way he likes his eggs so I asked for the to be cooked "very, very hard."Nearly 40 minutes later the coffees arrived.About an hour after ordering the breakfast arrived. And, you guessed it soft eggs. My scrambled eggs were wonderful, but to get an an explicit order so wrong with my husband isn't right. Not when you are paying Brisbane prices.Overall, enjoyed my breakfast, but my husband's was simply not as requested despite emphasising twice, and the wait was too great.Good bones but needs work on customer service.
A little gem in Allora. Don't miss having lunch here. Food was simple, tasty and yum served with lashings of friendliness and helpfulness. Thanks Frog and Swallow
We arrived at about 2pm with 10 people, lunch was served quick and was of high quality. We will go back!
Unfortunately, my experience was not good. The lamb rissole on my bun was overcooked, burnt on the bottom, the salad sparse and the onions were charcoal. I ate the meal only because I was ravenous after a long drive.I wish I had ordered the chips and gravy which were obviously enjoyed by the teenage boys who ordered them.
