Olympia - Münster

Since my wife and I consciously avoid the Greek restaurant Nikos in Münster, we decided to try the Olympia. Our whole expression and experience was one of, a left-behind-no-changed and very boring establishment! The amount of food we ordered was huge but, the taste was...one belonging to a very distant past! Once again I must and will write, my wife and I won´t be visiting this Greek restaurant, ever again!

We had a great dinner at Olympia. After checking restaurants on TripAdvisor we saw this restaurant with good reviews. As most of them were really positive and we like Greek food we called and reserved for the two of us. Upon arriving the owner greeted...us in German and he didn't speak English. Gladly we speak a bit German so he understood us and gave us a table inside. His employees (two German males) did speak English and were very kind. We ordered the plate for two and they came with an additional small table as apparently it wouldn't fit on our table. The food came and it looked delicious. It also tasted delicious and was worth every euro we paid. It was even cheap in our eyes for the amount we got and the good taste. Thanks for the great service and great food

Many Greek restaurants have disappointed me but only a few of them very more than usual. This one is a pearl. On my way through the city I felt hungry and looked a little bit in the internet, if there is a near by a...place to eat. This one was few minutes away. Came there, bumped in, so to speak, and got serviced like in no other restaurants of the same dishes. I had to wait a little bit more then other people but they all had a reservation, so...

Although we had made a reservation we had to wait for more then min. Only being attended due to our action. After more then one hour, no drinks served, no waiter took action. No excuses, and after ordering we had to wait for an...additional hour. The quality of the food was good, only the desert of the special menu was also ridiculous small and not of a good quality

We ate here of our nights in Muenster and probably if they weren't closed on Monday. Pretty decor, easy parking, great service and food. Grilled seafood was very fresh. Ditto with grilled meats. All of the food was very authentic. Family owned...and run for over years. Our server Daniel spoke good English so it was easy for us to order. Eleni in the kitchen and Mickey (Bruce Willis) on the floor have a strong local following for all the right reasons. Go there, You'll be happy!
