Avaliação da contribuiçãoI called and met the new owner, who had recently moved from Toronto in search of a quieter life. The family, originally from Hungary, was incredibly welcoming. We enjoyed a simple brunch of tea and muffins, which was well presented. The restroom was very clean, and I learned that the place had been nicely refurbished 6 months prior by the previous owners. The cooked breakfast also looked delicious.
The food at this restaurant is amazing, made fresh! I tried the soup and sandwich and it tasted like I was dining in a fancy restaurant. The homemade bread was delicious. You can't go wrong with this place!
The Bears The hands have changed, I think its called The Harbour View Café, I was there on two occasions and the servings are great and the price is good. The bread rolls are freshly cooked daily. I will post more...information if I can confirm the right name, My travellers tip is if you are hungry and on Highway #7 turn right to Musquodoboit Hbr.
The staff were friendly and there were many customers. We tried the seafood chowder and fishcake, both were delicious and generous portions. The homemade food and cake were a highlight, especially the butterscotch cake. The server was friendly and a local at the nearby table gave us some great tips on what to order from the menu. Overall, a great experience.
