Avaliação da contribuiçãoExcept for the ambience, nothing really great about this place. The food is very bland and tasteless. We ordered spring roll and tomato soup. I'm really clueless how can they go wrong with something as basic as tomato soup. People who are enthralled by the ambience will surely be disappointed with the food. May be they cater to the foreigners and that's why they keep their level of spice and salt very low.
This Review Is For The Cafe In Green Hotel, (Malgudi Cafe) and not the restaurant! I tried a bunch of things and I loved their chocolate cake (best I have had in town), their chicken and cheese sandwich (best I have had in town), their lemon drizzle cake and apple pie were really good too, but I didn't quite like the carrot cake, if you can only try two things from Malgudi Cafe, without a second thought go for the chocolate cake and the chicken and cheese sandwich
This review is for the Malgudi cafe which is located inside the hotel The cafe has nothing to do with R.K. Narayan's celebrated creation- Malgudi except for the name. The menu is nothing great to talk about. The coffee served is mix of chicory. The only positive thing about this cafe is its nice ambiance. The cafe other wise is over hyped in social media but for us it was a huge disappointment. There are many other nicer cafes in Mysore and definitely better places for a nice cup of coffee.
Well..i have been here few times, and i love this place! But during my last visit i took my parents along.they loved the place..The food is also reasonable and good! Tired cheese naan it was soo good!even the mushroom curry was yumm!!good service too !A calm plce for candle light dinners..
Ambience is just great! It’s like out of a picture book. Lots of greenery. But the Malgudi cafe inside closes as early as 7 pm! That’s the only drawback! One of the best authentic and old fashioned coffees in Mysore. Tasty cakes. Just wish the cafe was open for a bit longer.
