Sticky Rice Sushi - N. McAllen

This is by far my favorite sushi place to go to. Their California roll with crushed hot cheetohes. Oof! And their customer service is above and beyond. Like honestly I ordered from them today and their customer service was off the charts. Like I was in awe about it. Thank you for showing me why I love this place so much other than the good taste of your food.

The food is as delicious I really enjoyed the gyozas and my sushi I got the Sake roll and wow great fresh flavor!!! If you’re looking for some good sushi go here!!!!

I am a big sushi snob and was hesitant to get Nigiri because most of their menu is Maki (rolls) but I’m so glad I did.I usually get tamago to gauge a sushi place but they didn’t have that unfortunately and I got tuna, salmon, white tail, shrimp and eel.I was pleasantly surprised with the portion of their nigiri. I filled up with 6 nigiri and two of the tempura jalapeños. The eel was also some of the best eel I’ve had, definitely recommend it. The cuts were thick, tasted fresh, and very tender, except for my salmon one. It seemed to be cut with the grain instead of against it and it was stretchy because of that. Not sure why that was but all the other pieces were cut perfectly. The rice was perfectly fine. The rolls are very large portions and we usually can’t finish two of them.The tempura jalapeno was great, not spicy though, and and the batter was spot on.So while it’s not the best sushi I’ve had in town, it’s certain one of the top ones. Different than your average sushi place. Food was obviously made of good quality ingredients and sauces were well varied. I would eat sushi here again and they have a variety of rolls for every kind of taste. My favorite part was the Tea they have on the menu. Absolutely must try if want something a little different. Wait was minimal I got my food in a few minutes and the staff was polite as you ccould expect

Not real sushi! They don’t even have ginger, eel sauce and the rice for the sushi isnt even sushi grade rice. Ordered 4 rolls and have to throw it away! When I ask for the sauce, the server/cashier said that that how they serve it. Big disrespect to the Asian culture
