Love the pulled pork poutine! Order it all the timeThe BBQ sauce made in house is awesomeLove that it's not a franchise and is local.

This place is amazingFrom the chili cheese fries and the pork stuffed tator tots to the ham and cheese sandwich every thing was amazing.

I am often skeptical of smoked meat and BBQ jointsI find them either way too expensive for what you get, or the food just not done right.

I usually get the fried chicken, but the specials are incredible, sides are incredible, and deserts sound amazing but I've never had room to try one. I may stop by next time I'm in Nanaimo and just get desert - they sound so good!I had been following this restaurant for a while on Facebook and was very excited to try it on my first visit out the island and was not disappointed!It's a pretty low key place - order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table. Tables are equipped with sauce and rolls of paper towel - everything you need!

It was a warm evening. We are doing a kitchen reno & I didn't feel like starting the BBQ. I was next to Georges & thought after talking to my counter guy BBQ & a garden salad & a cold beverage seemed a good idea.Ordered a rack of ribs & a half pound of brisket. Made a garden fresh salad at home & added the BBQ. Excellent summer dinner. The sauce was just typify with spice, vinagar & not too thick. The fellow that set me up added extra sauce & seemed to care. The counter lady was very helpful. I though it a bit pricey at the shop but after dinner that was forgotten. Great quality. Would recommend this place & will go again. I have my own smoker, wood fired out door oven & make my own rubs. This was quality, I would have been pleased if my own turned out like this.
