Avaliação da contribuiçãoIn the rue des maréchaux, located in the old town of la nancy (in lorena) there are many restaurants and integrated it is the petite venise restaurant. as you can imagine, this is a place that offers Italian food (pastas, hot sandwiches, intermeses, risottos and Italian cheeses .. it is open all week, except Mondays. you can sit inside or on the terrace when it is good time.
Sorry to have been there. The menu was bruscetta with pasta to follow & some icecream. The icecream was the best part although probably not home made because of the much too elaborate choice offered. The other dishes were mediocre. Tagliatella was 2 euro extra but I don't think this was homemade as well. The following day I suffered some bellyache. So a place to avoid, there are plenty of other restaurants in this street.
Just made a schoolboy error, forgot to read about this restaurant on trip advisor before we visited! We've just returned from an evening at the La Petite Venise, a serious disappointment.Italian food should be about great ingredients prepared in a simple way, not piles of poor ingredients cooked badly. If you really like italian food AVOID
I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant, the food is excellent, portions generous, the ambience in the restaurant is welcoming and conducive to an enjoyable evening
We went to the restaurant which is on a short street full of restaurants so had quite a choice, we're glad we chose this one. The staff were very helpful in translating the menue as our French isn't brilliant and we don't eat meat. WE had scallops and prawns for starters and they were beautifully cooked and very tasty as was the main course. I'd recommend the restaurant for the food, service and friendliness of the staff.
