Downtown Joe's - Napa

Maybe this is a better option for beer and burger, but for breakfast or brunch, they don't waste their money. my wife and I have lived 7 years in napa and we know about this eating, have never tried. we decided to have breakfast here on Saturday, 10 September 2022. we were greeted joyfully by a hostess and offered to dine on the terrace overlooking the river napa. our server, tha , greeted us and took our drink order (1 mimosa, 1 irish coffee . after the delivery of our drinks to the board we have carried out the food order, but not without challenge. my wife does not eat large portions, so she asked tha whether only a half order of traditional eggs benedikt could be prepared, but that we are ready to pay the full price. tha explained that half-carriers are not available. we explained that we understand this, because it is not common for restaurants to offer this, but we again claimed we are ready to pay the full menu price. tha has challenged us again that we could take the unwanted half part home, or maybe I could eat it; after a short break it blurred, there is no button for it! (we suspect that it refers to the POS system. So we wondered if she might talk to the chef and please explain to them ours. she agreed. we received the order on request, but what was a pleasant experience and relaxing start in our Saturday, was disappointing. And even though the house made corned beef hash was excellent, the hath tanned kartoffels that tasted with the only egg benedict as if they were grilled on the flat top in old fat. there are so manny other places to enjoy breakfast in downtown napa; go elsewhere.

Great food, great drinks, great location and great service. our started at a table on the deck with a view of the river with the spicy pineapple margarita, the Jalapeño margarita and the **** mary with the BBQ glasses were the drinks fantastic! I ordered the black fish tacos and shared with a friend who ordered the salad packs. the salad packs were very tasteful, but difficult to eat, as most salad packs are. we all met at the weekend, and we caught food and drinks.

We had dinner here while in Napa for a wedding. They were very accommodating in booking tables for a larger number of us. We just wish we could have all sat by the river instead of the street. I think the experience would have been a lot nicer. Food was generally good although one order of fries were not hot. We didn't send it back though. I had the blackened fish tacos which was good but very spicy. We had the artichoke, Asiago and spinach dip which was good but you didn't get a lot of it. It was one of the more reasonably priced restaurants in the area. One of the reason we chose it. Others in our group did go back for another dinner later in the week.

Nice restaurant and good service. We got some starters: unfortunately the chicken wings were not crispy you can tell they are not fresh (frozen wings).Would try something from the BBQ next time.

What a perfect place for a Friday night. Phenomenal Service (Melissa rocks! . The manager greeted and welcomed us when we walked in, and then checked on us later on. Live music. Awesome river views at sunset. And the brisket. WOW. Don't miss the bison burger either. Thanks for an unpretentious Downtown Napa experience
