Fontinas Italian Kitchen - Naperville

Hate to do this because I have always loved this place, but this was ridiculous. I bought 3 -10 Bastas and 1- 10 Capri sandwiches on Friday night (over $50). All of the sandwiches had basically little to no meat on them. I will give them 1 more attempt at getting better, but if it repeats.. I'll never be back.Food: 1/5

We had the good fortune to dine with friends at Fontina's last night. The food was delicious, the waiter appropriately attentive, and the wine tasty. I had the spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs--the sauce was spicy and flavorful and the meatballs were delicious. A special treat was the Insallata alla Strega--a delicious salad with a delightful light dressing. We definitely will be back!

Great food. Helpful in accommodating my gluten-free dairy-free requirements. They have a couple of tables outside on the sidewalk, albeit right by the parking lot, but it was very pleasant.

I was very disappointed. First time eating there. Read good reviews and was excited about trying the food. Ordered GrubHub and when my food arrived it was not exactly what I ordered. The taste and quality marginal. Ordered a ‘juicy’ Italian Beef sandwich, it was completely dry, and had no flavor. Also, the tiramisu was not fresh. It was frozen and tasted nothing like tiramisu. It was very bitter. Unfortunately, because it was delivered I couldn’t return it.
