Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe visited The Tusten Cup for breakfast during our trip to Narrowsburg and it quickly became one of our favorite spots in the area. The food was fresh, healthy, and customizable. We enjoyed a custom egg sandwich with hummus, chicken sausage, and a veggie bagel, along with a delicious cappuccino. The bakery items, especially the cinnamon crumble walnut cake, looked irresistible and were incredibly soft. The restaurant offers ample seating both indoors and outdoors, and has a great vibe. I highly recommend The Tusten Cup to anyone visiting Narrowsburg!
This restaurant is a great spot for breakfast with amazing food and friendly staff. The view of the Delaware River is also a bonus. However, my one complaint is that despite it being a cool day outside, the inside AC was set to 64 degrees with the ceiling fans on high. My family and I shivered through our meal, which was a bit of a letdown. When I inquired about adjusting the AC, a worker mentioned that it was the preference of the absent boss. It seemed like everyone else was also feeling chilly and had to bundle up. Next time, we'll make sure to bring our sweatshirts!
I frequently order the Garden Wrap from this restaurant. Instead of putting it in a package, I prefer to have it on a bed of salad with extra tomato and avocado. The cost is around $17 with add-ons. They offer a variety of drinks including raw juices, milk, and milk alternatives. The dining area is beautiful with a view of the river. It can get crowded at times, mainly due to personal events or on weekdays as it is one of the only spots open for coffee and breakfast on Main Street in Narrowsburg. The staff is friendly and they have a lovely outdoor deck overlooking the river where you can wait or dine. When Celia is working in the kitchen, the sandwiches are exceptional. They also offer a build-your-own salad option, but I prefer sticking to the Garden Wrap. The hummus is especially delicious. They sometimes have vegan soup or vegan chocolate peanut butter cake available, as well as vegan chocolate bars, gummies, non-dairy yogurt, oat milk, and a great selection of carbonated drinks and raw juices for purchase. The prices are a bit on the higher side - we usually end up spending around $40 for two sandwiches, a raw juice, and a cappuccino.
The coffee at this restaurant is good and reasonably priced, and the breakfast sandwich was also tasty.
On October 23, 2021, I enjoyed a hummus veggie wrap without cheese and a bottled drink at this restaurant on a rainy weekend in October just before closing time. I am grateful for having this vegan option available in the city, especially since another favorite restaurant had closed six weeks ago. Thank you for accommodating vegans even in the late year!
