El Fenix

I’m a Canadian and have been touring Tex-Mex restaurants in the Fort Worth area for over a month now with my soul friend Reverend Kerrie D. Stone. All of the Tex-Mex food I have tasted in the area has been great. The service and hospitality we received at El Fenix by Ramon was by far the most superior. We learned from the assistant manager Maria that Ramon has been with El Fenix for 40 years! How amazing! Go to El Fenix and ask for Ramon to be your server! You will be in for a real treat. Faith was amazing and the food was great great server very attentive

Put us (6 people) in bar room. Waited a long time, 20 minutes to be waited.on, and I had to even go tell lady in red shirt. Then someone came. Upon leaving, one lady marked she wanted receipt, waited 15 minutes, again I went and told someone. The waiter came and took care of it.

The ground meat inside the chili relleno was very bland, no seasoning.. pepper itself was slightly mushy and overcooked.. definitely had better.

Food was adequate but they charge for spicy salsa and jalapeños.
