The new owners are listening to the public. Bar menu, expanded dining menu, and most importantly, great service staff are making a difference. It certainly worth a try. We had 2 lovely evenings. Our party of four went on a Wednesday night to celebrate a birthday. We were greeted warmly as we entered. The bartender made us his excellent Old Fashioned. Our server came to the bar to help us transition to the dining room for our meal. The wedge salad was imaginative and full of flavor. We all enjoyed our entrees-the Beef stroganoff was an outstanding and flavorful rendition of this dish-very tender. My husband had a steak which was perfectly prepared and presented. Another of our party enjoyed the pan seared wall-eye. This was an unpretentious and warm experience. Like going to an aunties house that really knows how to cook. Highly recommend . Buyer beware If you are planning to dine at the RCI, you may consider bringing an overnight bag perhaps even some snacks while you wait for the experience to unfold After being seated: 30 minutes for cocktail and order entry drinks not served simultaneously. >10 minute gaps amongst group more than 60 minutes before food arrives Essential cutlery not present with meals Order inaccuracies/portion inconsistency food and drink quality good, but below industry standard for price point Waitstaff not to blame. It was our first time there, the albanyans of the 1848 building and the interior was extraordinary. We had the best stroganoff and the fried asparagus which was also outstanding. Small. Comfortable eating area. We were there during their update on their website with a camera crew which was pretty fun to watch. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive but all in all it was okay.
