Good food bad service!. My wife and I met some friends there for dinner last week the food was good [the shrimp chimichanga it is great and full of shrimp]. The chips are good non-fat salsa is ok Margaritas well not strong, the prices are reasonable! A 6.8 out of 10, because the service was bad, could not speak English!

Big Mexican! Love this place! The food is delicious, especially the fajita quesadilla! Try it, you won't regret it!

Amazing Food. I didn't eat a lot of Mexican food when I was a kid. When I started working in Natchitoches, though, I started eating it quite a bit. My boss introduced me to the fajitas at another local restaurant, but they were never good enough for me to go by myself. El Nopal opened a couple of years later and I was hooked. Granted, I don't venture much in what I order. It's either fajitas, fajita nachos or fajita quesadillas. They're always good, though. Even after a vacation spent traveling around most of Texas, I haven't had any better. The queso is some of the best I've ever had, too. The prices are reasonable. The service is really good. I honestly don't have a single complaint.

The food and the service was great. One order was wrong but they happily replaced it with the right order in less than 2 minutes. Enjoyed the food and the people so much.
