Absolutely terrible service!!! If I could give a half star, that’s what this place deserve. The waitress only took our order and didn’t check on us! It was even hot in the restaurant! The food is good and I want to try the new halo-halo but even if we left not paying no one will notice! There’s a bunch of staff in front but pay no attention. I have to pay to the front and left NO TIP that they deserve. Sorry, not sorry!

Came for an early dinner on Friday and got seated pretty quickly. There was live music; a singer on piano. Loved it!!! Totally unexpected. I would never thought there'd be live music in a casual restaurant. The singer was great (think acoustic covers of your favorite 90s-00s songs).We ordered a couple of beers (yep. Filipino beer) and dishes and they came quickly.Lumpia Shanghai (springrolls):crisp and hot. Exactly how they are supposed to be. Portion is huge! But leftover lumpias are good lumpias to me.Grilled octopus:Simple, tasty.Beef kare kare:This is my first time trying kare kare and I was blown away. I did not know about this dish before coming here and honestly I was skeptical at first, but peanut butter beef turned out to be a great combo. Highly recommend!Parking: This place is in a mall, so the parking is the mall's parking lot

We came in for late dinner. Service is great. Food lots of servings. I wish they stay open more late to cater late customers. Overall delish food.

We came as a group of 24 people. It was the first for some of our party. I strongly suggested Gerry’s Grill because I love their food. There were so many staff members standing around so I was hopeful that there wouldn’t be any problems or delays with the service (as experienced in past visits . Especially since our visit was on a weekday evening.Service is the only issue I’ve had with Gerry’s Grill. The order taking process takes so long drinks arrive long after orders are placed, and the servers don’t check back after the food arrives to see if we need anything else.We will still continue to dine at Gerry’s Grill, they have dishes that other Filipino food places don’t have.I recommend lots of patience and everything will be fine :

Great staff service! My First time experience with a Filipino cuisine! Gerry's San Diego has amazing food cocktails, awesome live bands with an atmosphere enjoyable for all.
