Went two nights successively and both had very good food and service. My favourite restaurant in Neiva with option of the patio or the salon.
My wife and I arrived at around 7:30pm on a Thursday night. We were greated by friendly staff who quickly accomodated our request for a party of 9, we were just the first to arrive. While the table was being set we ordered a pitcher of sangria. After about half an hour our order came out and it was definitely well made. The fruit was fresh and plentyful wine; delicious! After all guests arrived we ordered some more drinks which were slow coming out, but criticism #1: the waiter never came to check if we were ready for more drinks or if we were ready to order our meals. We finally flagged him down and places our order at about 8ish. The waiter then became MIA until we 'd flag him down for more drinks. After an hour and a half had passed and no communication from the waiter explaining tardiness and perhaps offer a refill in bread or some sort of appetizers we asked asked for a status on our order the waiter scolded us lecturing our table saying that food is slow coming out here because everything is made fresh and from scratch in front of the entire restaurant. Our response, if food is not at our table at 10pm (over 20mins) please cancer our order. We 'll pay for our drinks and leave. The waiter again went MIA. At 10pm he walked passed our table so we asked for our tab, gentleman kelp walking. Not 5 minutes had passed when food magically began to appear at our table. In conclusion, we paid for what we consumed and rejected their food because of their terrible service. I post this with upmost respect for the restaurant, their employees, but more importantly for the customers who don 't stand up for themselves. Remember, you the consumer are the entrepreneur boss. They are not gifting you anything. They want your money so don 't just give it to them, they need to earn it. As for the business owner, I commend you for having a successful business and I hope this criticism helps you understand how much you should value all your customers. BTW, drinks were almost $400k pesos.... How much money was left on the table thanks to terrible service?
This is a beautiful place with amazing food and great service. A must go restaurant when visiting Neiva or just to celebrate life.
