At our departure to hambach we have eaten with our children in the restaurant of the castle.From the food offer for children and the quality of the food we were very impressed.

We were in the restaurant in 1832 after visiting the children's theatre in hambacher, on whose entry card was advertised for a restaurant visit. it was just bad! our places for 24 people were divided into 6 tabs, but we were families with children, we didn't know we should split up. to ask if we could change the tables without finding a solution. to requisition came the explanation that the room for a long table would not be enough. I'm not sorry, I'm sorry, nothing. then there was only a court of the children. no ketchup that some children like. my lead was served late and asked that they had forgotten the suppe, they wanted to serve me the suppe for guidance. then the suppe of my mannes came, only unfortunately without spoons that came into question when the suppe was almost cold. also his lead was forgotten, came only when we had already decided to go, as all the others were already finished and the children were restless. the service was underground bad. no demand for nothing, it was necessary to be so hospitable, and the quality of eating has not torn it out either. our complaints were accepted, but not really taken very seriously, and the bill was not true either. we will never go to dinner again.

Great location! excellent eating! we felt very comfortable during our stay and enjoyed the great ambiente. the service is very courteous, the price-performance ratio is right! absolutely recommended!

At our departure to the castle hambach we could not only enjoy the magnificent view, but also the surroundings and above all the restaurant of the castle. the food (winner plate and hambacher schlosssalat) were very good and also the service was very accommodating. we will definitely come back!
