Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis was a cozy local bar with excellent drinks and delicious, straightforward bar food! The bartender handled everything, including the cooking. We visited on a Monday night, and it was a wonderful place to unwind.
We were in the area applying for an apartment and decided to stop in and try a future local joint. We were disappointed. We walked in and had to ask if we just sit wherever. The server that answered as pretty rude and looked annoyed to have to answer me. We were in a bit of a rush, so we were not very happy how slow the service was. No one came to see us for at least 5 minutes, which seemed like forever. There looked to only be one server and one cook/bartender on staff. The food took a long time to come out, and did not turn out to be very good. The waffle fries were tasty tho. The burger was greasy, small and of fast food quality, without the perk of it being fast. I might go back there for drinks some day, but probably not for food again.
I stopped by this afternoon with my son for a St. Patrick's Day lunch. The bartender explained that the traditional dinners were available only for dinner service, but after I shared my interest in trying them, they kindly agreed to accommodate my request. I heard that the beef and cabbage dish was fantastic, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It was really delicious. Thank you!
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. When we requested it, Joel kindly turned off the music. He was friendly and efficient, managing everything on his own. Despite being the only staff member present, he handled all aspects—bar service, cooking, and waiting tables—remarkably well. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!
Hasn't changed to Yeats. Still good food and beautiful place to meet friends.
