Cleveland Pub Grill - New Berlin

Been going to Cleveland for years. Always excellent food and warm atmosphere. Try out their Friday fish fry always really great.

They have a great beer selection at good prices and the service has always been spot on. But the food has been hit and miss. Their baked cod is a nice sized piece of fish and quite delicious. But I've also ordered a pizza and requested it be well done and asked for the bacon to be extra crispy on my burger. Both came out the complete opposite. The cheese on the pizza was barely melted and nowhere near golden brown or well done. And the bacon was way undercooked. I understand that it takes longer to make items the way I requested, but I'm in no hurry or rush when I make a basic special request. It seems like so many restaurants these days are overwhelmed and concerned with pushing food out as fast as possible that they forget to focus on quality.I'll definitely give them another chance on the pizza because they have really good sausage and I love the option for red and yellow peppers instead of just green. And the crust is nice and thin and crispy.

Wonderful place to have a party! Very friendly courteous staff
