Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy fiancé and I had an incredible date here. Randy was our server-he was so helpful in recommending menu items and made us laugh the whole night. We split the burger and the filet- SO GOOD. The bun on the burger is chefs kiss. We also had that tuna app, the wedge, and the crème brûlée. I had a Mexican martini…all of the above were delicious. We will be back soon!
The food was great but the portion on the pork was extremely small and I wish someone would have said something. We came in at around 2 to get something to eat and ended up standing at the hostess stand for about 10 minutes waiting to be sat while the entire staff attempted go avoid eye contact with the small line that was forming up there. Once the hostess begrudgingly sat us (she seemed upset that we were there), it took us about another 10 minutes for water. After that it took about 20 minutes to get an appetizer and another 20 to get food. Again the food was great but we didn’t get it for about an hour after we walked in for what we thought would be a quick lunch. We didn’t mind sitting because it was a nice spot but we won’t be back.
I’m from the DC area and am always looking for some food options in Texas that are comparable to what I have at home. I spend a lot of time here and was so happy when I found Cody’s! Finally a place to get fresh food that is more diverse than most of the other foods in the area and offers more fish and vegetable options that appeal to me. Of note, the heirloom tomato salad and grilled asparagus are some of the best! And the staff, notably Cheyenne, goes above and beyond!
Only been a couple of times but the food left no impression. The bill did, however. I would say it’s overpriced for the food and for the town. Service and ambiance are fine.
We love this place! We have had nothing but phenomenal experiences at this new location! Highly recommend Cody's!
