Le Pain Quotidien - New Canaan

I am a fan of the chain, but my experience here was disappointing. we waited 40 minutes for our job and get our food. my companion omelet arrived cold. the personal was overwhelmed, although it wasn't even half full.

I tried the French cream donut at this restaurant and was not overly impressed. The donut was stale, likely because we visited at the end of the day when it had been sitting out for hours. Although the cream was flavorful, the overall experience was underwhelming. Additionally, they were offering free mini muffins at the end of the day - blueberry and pumpkin flavors. However, these too were somewhat stale and not exceptional. I would suggest getting pastries in the morning for a better experience. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were friendly.

Great baked goods, especially the croissants!! Many delicious choices on the menu. And, excellent service.

Tasty (but expensive) chain restaurant with small portions. I did enjoy the ham croissant, but it is definitely not for those looking for a big breakfast. The dressing on the side salad was delicious, but again small. The coffee comes in what looks like a soup bowl and is hard to handle, especially when hot. I don't like to comment or review based on service but they were definitely short staffed on the day I went because it seemed like one woman was working every table and it took about 20mins just to get coffee.

Waited close to a hour before our order was taken. Avoid this place. Staff unresponsive.
